Have You Ever Lost Faith in God

"Have You Ever Lost Faith in God," is something I had to release,

from the cover, to the title, to the poems on the CD. Topics that

are covered, range from my spirituality, to my life as a poet,

relationships, women pride, politics, rap, black poverty, the war in

Iraq, the genocide going on in Palestine, and my way back to God

again.

When I start production for an album, I do put the kind of effort into it so that it may come out topping my prior work, and I felt as though I achieved that with his album, 'Have You Ever Lost Faith in God,' had been my most mature work up to it's release date.

I got a gigantic feature from my homeboy, The Dri Fish. And in my opinion, he gives one the hardest verses I've ever heard him spit, and to my benefit I am blessed to have it on my CD. My Father makes another reoccurring appearance, providing piano and bass in most of the cuts, far more than he has before, and because of him, the CD just came out with a fuller feel. He is a genius...simply put, God couldn't have given me a better role model.

I had a few friends and associates, waiting to see how this product was received, feeling that I'm walking on water with the message that I'm putting out. Well, all I can say...I'm still here, I haven't been shot over the cover or the messages...not yet at least.
